Introduction to Art Dolls with Beth Ann Williams

Simple shapes can be powerfully expressive.  From whimsical to elegant, art dolls tell stories. In addition to sharing some of her own dolls, Beth Ann will assist you in designing and creating your very own work of art.  Basic patterns will be available at no additional charge to class participants, or bring your own beginner level pattern.

Introduction to Needle Felting by Hand or Machine with Phyllis Duffy

If you’re curious as to how you can utilize all the wonderful wool roving colors and fibers carried by Lakeshore Sewing, this class is for you.  Learn to needle felt a still life or landscape by hand, then finish it off using the embellisher machine. A machine will be provided.

Introduction to Fabric Postcards

Learn all about making and mailing fabric postcards. Catch on to this world wide, fast growing craze that is recognized in some quilt shows as an art in itself.  4x6 Inch pieces of art can be created by you and sent to friends and family.  These are cards that will be collected and saved by all who receive them.  Chances are, you already have most of what you need to create a variety of cards.  Leave with one or more cards made and ready to mail.
